There’s a particular feeling that comes with finding something — a book, a conversation, a community — that reflects exactly how you see the world. That moment of recognition: yes, that’s it. That’s what I think too.
Rational Supply Co. exists to create that feeling in the things you use every day.
We make products for freethinkers, skeptics, atheists, agnostics, and secular humanists — people who live by reason, find wonder in science, and don’t need the supernatural to live a good, full, meaningful life. People who have thought carefully about what they believe and why, and who aren’t shy about it.
Our Story
Both of us grew up in evangelical churches in 1980’s America at the height of the “Satanic Panic”. Our parents saw satan in everything from breakfast cereal to Saturday morning cartoons. My mom and dad even owned a successful Christian bookstore for most of the 80’s. Needless to say, we grew up deep in it.
Our faith in Christianity extended well into our adulthood, and at some point we both realized, at around the same time, that the book we were supposedly living our lives by was just another filthy book written by Bronze and Iron-Age goatherders who didn’t know where the sun went at night.
What We Stand For
We believe reason is worth celebrating. We believe a life without religion can be just as meaningful, connected, and purposeful as any other — and that the growing community of non-religious people deserves products that reflect their values without apology.
We also believe in doing things properly. Every product we carry is chosen or designed with care. We’re not interested in cheap novelty items with edgy slogans. We’re interested in things that are genuinely well made, genuinely useful, and genuinely reflective of a thoughtful secular worldview.

A Note on the Name
We chose “Rational Supply Co.” deliberately. Rational doesn’t mean cold, joyless, or superior. It means grounded — in evidence, in reason, in the shared human project of trying to understand the world and live well in it. That’s what we’re supplying. The rest is just good products.
